Amazingly enough the forecast was right – it snowed – and how! Well for Genoa anyway. This is nothing for a Canadian really, but for a land with palm trees it’s a big deal!
Schools were closed for the day and I woke up to this nice little landscape:
It was just a dusting, but as the day went on, more and more snow came down. So I had no choice but to show my hubby what is to be done on a proper snow day. Hats and gloves were donned and I took the man out for some fun – we made little snowmen:
Had a snowball fight:
And followed it all up with nice hot cocoa – with marshmallows!
And now looking out the window big fat flakes are still falling…
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!

Ah, for a school closure over snow… The school district I work for never closes for snow. Looks like you took full advantage of the white stuff!
